Collection: Travis Owney

Having grown up in VA Beach, Travis developed a deep love of the ocean which strongly influenced his life pursuits. On the water he enjoys kayaking, boating, and fishing as well as photographing seascapes, wildlife, and surfing. In his downtime, he enjoys pencil sketching and traveling to the Outer Banks and VA’s Eastern Shore with his talented wife and their 2 border collies, Rye and Piper.

As a kid, he used to spend time with his dad, building boats out of scrap wood and often marveled at the amazing wood carvings that his dad would create in his spare time. Once he rediscovered woodworking, he used those memories as motivation in his craft. Seascapes and Sawdust was born from these experiences, building off the memories and the activities that he loves most in this world. Seeing a scene come to life out of raw wood is magical and fuels his passion to keep creating.
