Short Story is a mixed media artist, screenprinter, and instructor from Portsmouth, Virginia. His professional art journey began in 2005 as a self taught digital artist.

Today he is known for incorporating comic strips into his artwork, often representing layers revolving around the social commentary of each piece. Short Story calls this the “light hearted style.” He frames and stretches all of his own canvases and also produces art on framed wood panels. He is both an analog and digital artist and seldomly will use graphic design within the composition of an art piece. Short Story is also well versed in screenprinting, for use in artwork and on garments.
