Collection: Lori Baccanari

Born and raised in Tidewater, art has been my passion since I could hold a crayon. In college, I temporarily forgot how much I loved to create and design, falling into the world of math and science with a job afterwards in the software industry. It wasn’t until my youngest child was two and I was a stay-at-home Mom that I re-found my passion for art again.

I’m inspired by the coast and nostalgia for my summers spent at the beach and pool as a teenager. I tend to paint scenes where I can envision myself – whether it’s at a pool party or a relaxing day on the beach combing for shells. With one hand in interior design and the other on my paintbrush, I’m constantly trying to find a balance between the perfect color combinations and the interesting composition of shapes and lines.
