Collection: Leonette Adler

Leonette Adler received her early art training at New York's Art Students League and Parsons School of Design, and received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Hunter College in New York City.

She has had solo shows in Charlottesville and Richmond, Virginia and in Washington, D.C. Her works have been exhibited in national shows at the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Butler Institute of American Art, Gibbes Gallery of Charleston, S.C., the Springfield Museum in Massachusetts., Pennsylvania State University Gallery and the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia.

Some of the awards received are "Best in Show" - Virginia Beach Boardwalk Art
Show, Awards of Distinction at the Portsmouth Museum and Charles H. Taylor Art Center, Hampton, Virginia. Her works have been selected for Purchase Awards at exhibits at the Virginia Museum and the Chrysler Museum. Her paintings are in the collections of the Martin-Marietta Aircraft Co., Union-Camp Paper Co., Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Dollar Tree Corporate Offices and various banks, hospitals and businesses, as well as numerous private collections throughout the Country.
