As a nature and wildlife artist, I draw inspiration from being present, taking pictures, observing the detail and beauty of my subject in it’s natural environment. Frequently using a combination of my own photos as references, I try to recapture that feeling of awe in my finished painting honoring the subject and the creator. I primarily work in oil but occasionally use pen & ink or colored pencils.
