Collection: Mark Todd

My name is Mark, and I’m an illustrator who grew up in Suffolk but now lives in Norfolk. My childhood was spent in the creeks, dunes, ballfields and culture of the region.

School, work and a sense of adventure led me from Richmond to Cleveland to California. But family drew me back, and I eventually returned to the Tidewater area with new eyes and a fresh perspective on the place where I grew up.

My paintings focus on the parts of our area that we sometimes overlook from the industrial coastline to my own imagined animals who inhabit our neighborhoods.
